Seasonal Nourishment for Late Summer
Online 5-Hour Workshop

September 20-21, 2025 —11am-1:30 pm EST

We meet at the moment of the equinox. As the golden grasses bend toward autumn and late summer’s fullness ripens into harvest, we too are called to pause, digest, and root.

In this five-hour online workshop, we’ll step into the fertile earth of our own bodies, tending ourselves with breath, movement, and seasonal alchemy.

This immersive weekend session weaves together:

  • Seasonal Practice — asana and embodied inquiry inspired by the earth element of late summer.

  • Breathwork and Meditation — greeting the equinox

  • Rituals — simple, magical practices to focus on the direction you wish to go. Equinox is an opportunity to pause, focus, and adjust for the coming season.

  • Guided Writing and Philosophical Reflection — integrating ancestral wisdom and contemporary practice for composting, reflecting, and incubating until the next equinox.

In Five Element Theory, late summer belongs to the earth element—a time of spleen, stomach, digestion, and integration. It’s the pivot between bright outward summer and the quieter seasons ahead. This is the perfect moment to rest, replenish, and reorganize both body and spirit.

Weekend goodies also include a digital download of our seasonal guide, beautifully designed by Jason Bacasa:

  • Gifts of the Earth: Late Summer Manual

    • Gentle practices for sustainable nourishment and self-regulation

    • Guided asana and breathwork sequences designed to tonify and regulate

    • Herbal introductions and easy, kitchen-friendly plant rituals

    • A poetic lens on seasonal rhythms to inspire daily life

  • Where: Online via Zoom, recordings available

  • When: September 20-21, 2025 11-1:30 NYC time (5 hours total, with breaks)

This is not a workshop about “purging” or “fixing.” It is an invitation to befriend yourself, compost what is no longer needed, and root into a late-summer practice of abundance and ease.
